Founded in 1995 by Jess Stonestreet Jackson and Barbara Banke, Stonestreet Estate Vineyards sit at the top of the infamous Mayacamas mountain range in the Alexander Valley AVA. This estate is located in the eastern portion of the appellation (Black Mountain) and is one of the most extensive mountain estates in the region, now a real testament to the potential quality of high-elevation winegrowing within Sonoma, and California. The geological diversity of the mountain, combined with a distinctive grape varieties means you can expect to find a mix of extreme landscapes and high altitudes (up to 730m) offering distinctive single vineyard wines made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

A blend of their best Chardonnay vineyard sites, the Estate bottling is one of the most compelling expressions of their mountainous vineyards. The purpose here is to blend their prized vineyards to create a wine of precision with balanced aromatics, texture and purity of both the fruit and of the vintage.

Tasting Note:
The 2018 Estate Chardonnay exhibits Bosc pear and caramel with delicate mineral salinity. The substantial palate exhibits toffee, cashew brittle and salted grilled peaches and finishes long with savoury tension.

This is a Dry, Full bodied wine with Medium+ acidity and Low tannin. It is Medium+ in it's intensity with Medium+ alcohol and a Medium+ finish.
