Each wine is dedicated to showcasing the excellence of Washington and its unique and varied soil types, and micro environments. After 16 years as winemaker for Penfolds, John Duval's The Sequel is the next step in his journey after coming to Columbia Valley in 2003 and realising the potential to produce world class wines.

Tasting Note: (From the Winery)
Deep and inky in colour; the 2017 Sequel Syrah offers inviting aromas and flavours of fresh blueberry, violet and a hint of cassis. Black olive tapenade and savoury spice persist across the mid-palate. Multi-layered and well structured, the wine's refined texture and enticing viscosity lead to a long, impressive finish.

This is a Dry, Full bodied wine with High acidity and High tannin. It is Pronounced in it's intensity with High alcohol and a Long finish.
