Established in 1865 when Eduardo Seghesio planted his first Zinfandel vine in Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, the Seghesio estate has gone on to make a name for itself for the quality of its wines and attention to detail.
Located in Healdsberg in the heart of Sonoma wine country, the estate 121 hectares of vineyards located in the Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys planted to Arneis, Pinot Grigio, Muscat, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Petite Syrah, Aglianico, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Despite the diversity of plantings, Seghesio are Zinfandel specialists with the variety accounting for 85% of their production and the wines winning many awards in local and international wine shows.

Tasting Note:
Another impressive entry level Zinfandel from Seghesio. Intense aromatics of currant and plum are complemented by savory notes of black olive, anise and allspice. A bright entry of briary black raspberry gives way to a full and bold palate of ripe fruit, well integrated oak supple, lively tannins and a powerful, long lingering finish.

This is a Dry, Full bodied wine with High acidity and High tannin. It is Pronounced in it's intensity with High alcohol and a Medium+ finish.
