Weingut Bründlmayer is a family-run winery that manages about 75 ha of vineyards, mainly terraced, in and around Kamptal and Langenlois. This is probably Austria's number one estate outside the Wachau, and Andreas Larsson MS believes Bründlmayer actually the nation’s best! However you look at it, this is another one of the world’s top white winegrowers and we love them.

Bründlmayer is situated in Langenlois, 70 km northwest of Vienna and upstream along the Danube in the Lower Austrian Kamp Valley. The wooded hills of the Waldviertel protect the vineyards from the cold north-westerly winds. During the day, the sun warms the stony terraces, while at night the fresh, fragrant forest air drifts through the Kamp Valley into the Langenloiser Arena. The Kamptal is not far from the Wachau or Kremstal but it does offer different terroir and style.

Tasting Note:
A great introduction to Grüner Veltliner, this wine is vibrant, fresh, mineral and completely mouth watering. It's packed with lime, yellow grapefruit, herbs, fresh cucumber, peppery spice and rye bread making this is an extremely expressive and very friendly dry white.
This has all the hallmarks of a classic Kamptal white with an acute mineral backbone and persistent finish. Enjoy it on a hot summers day!
