Clos Clare is the wine label of brothers Sam and Tom Barry, grandsons of the legendary Jim Barry (and third generation of the Barry family) is a boutique winery located in the corner of the famous Florita Vineyard in the Clare Valley. Both brothers have experience making wine around the world, and locally, each honing their craft and now together with their rich family legacy, continue make delightful single-vineyard expressions of Clare Valley. This is the 9th vintage of Clos Clare's patch and definitely a winery to watch.
Tasting Note:
The 2023 Clos Clare Riesling is another superb release of Clos Clare Riesling bursting with plenty of typical lime and lemon flavours that is supported by vibrant acidity on a beautiful lineal structure. Should provide plenty of drinking pleasure over the next decades.
This is a Dry, Light bodied wine with High acidity and No tannin. It is Medium- in it's intensity with Medium alcohol and a Medium finish.
