Founded in 1997 by Yiannis Boutaris, Kir-Yianni makes wine across two regions in the north of Greece – Amyndeon and Naoussa, with the aim of producing terroir driven wines that speak of place. Combined with an integrated farming approach, proper care in the vineyard, strict vine and grape selection, and in the cellar, the use of microvinifications and meticulous attention to detail ensures the wines of Kir-Yianni maintain tradition, typicity, aging potential and a consistency from vintage to vintage.

Kir-Yianni specialises in the native Greek variety – xinomavro, the wines of both Naoussa and Amyndeon showing wonderful layered complexity of fruit and serious acidity, which give them a unique character and long ageing potential.

This is a Dry, Medium bodied wine with High acidity and High tannin. It is Medium in it's intensity with Medium alcohol and a Medium finish.
