Bedrock Wine Co. was founded by Morgan Twain-Peterson MW in 2007 and focuses on small production wines from many of California’s most treasured and historic vineyards. First and foremost Bedrock is a quality driven operation dedicated to preserving and rehabilitating old vineyards and the winery dedicated to taking advantage of the diverse terroirs and their capacity to make an enormous range of styles.

Due to the recent wildfires this Old Vine Zin has bee sourced from different vineyards around California and in order of percentage, the wine comes from Bedrock Vineyard, Teldeschi Ranch, Sodini Ranch, Nervo Ranch, Katushas, Evangelho, Esola, Casa Santinamaria, and Story Vineyard. It is about 85% Zinfandel blended a host of different varieties that maintain poise and add complexity and structure.

Tasting Note:
From vines averaging over 80 years in age this wine shows wonderful perfume, freshness, and spice that makes this Zinfandel so delicious. There is plenty of juiciness here with ripe fruit notes, plush tannin and supplementary oak vanilla and spice, proving delightful in the short term with a good decant; however this wine will age gracefully and improve with time in bottle.

This is a Dry, Full bodied wine with Medium+ acidity and High tannin. It is Pronounced in it's intensity with High alcohol and a Medium+ finish.
